CoS beginner to intermediate online classes
If you’re wondering where you can get your hands on some online classes to help you upgrade your computer skills, the City of Sydney have put together some links to help you. These classes are for beginners to intermediate so don’t hold back!
Be Connected - This Australia wide initiative starts from the very beginning, including ‘what is a computer’. You can browse their topics and find the right content for you.
GCF Global - This site has a large range of free online learning options, including computer basics, Office suite, career planning, applying for jobs, using email, online safety and so so much more!
Palm Beach Country Library - This site is tailored for any one at the very first stages of learning about computers, and it doesn’t matter how old or young you are (old enough to read of course!). The site is a guided course helps users use a mouse in an easy and accessible format.
Microsoft have a suit of courses for Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint and Word. The courses are designed for beginner, intermediate and advanced. Each level is broken up into topic areas so you can start from the beginning or find the section you need. There are also quick start guides for Office.
